Summer Holidays in Pfitschtal

Summer at the Leitenhof

On the southern slope of the Alps, with an average of 300 sunny days a year, we can live in a truly privileged region. In summer, mountain forests and chestnut trees, orchards and vineyards, alpine pastures and the peaks of the mighty mountains present themselves as a magnificent ensemble for hiking, horseback riding, mountain bike adventures and much more.

If you get involved in this world and forget your everyday life for a moment, you will feel the incomparable magic of the region. You will also find further hiking areas in our neighbouring valleys Ridnauntal, Ratschingstal and Pflerschtal (within a radius of 20 km). We are happy to provide tips, please contact us.

We will do our best to help you open up this wonderful mountain world. You can borrow hiking rucksacks and walking sticks free of charge. With our minibus we bring you after appointment arrangement gladly to a starting point of your migration.

Summer program at the Leitenhof:

A variety of hiking possibilities, from Nordic Walking to valley and mountain paths and challenging summit tours are the stage for easy hikes as well as exciting mountain adventures. Pack a backpack with farm delicacies and sit down at the edge of a shady forest for a picnic overlooking the Alps. You and your family will experience moments of happiness.

It is a special pleasure for us to lead you once a week to a summit storm, a gorge hike, a hut tour with cheese tasting on the alpine pasture or other mountain adventures. Learn, guided by us, what it means to explore this enchanting world on the back of a good-natured horse.

Summer experiences in and around Vipiteno

In and around the beautiful old mountain town of Sterzing you will find witnesses of South Tyrol's past such as the enchanting alleys of the old town, medieval squares, the ancient twelve-tower, the magnificent Reifenstein Castle, one of South Tyrol's well-preserved burgers, or the Multscher Museum with the magnificent late Gothic winged altar by Hans Multscher. In fact, Sterzing has one of the most beautiful old towns in South Tyrol.

In addition to these urban and historical experiences, the region offers summer adventures such as a high ropes course, adventurous rafting tours, heavenly paragliding, tandem flights, bike tours and outdoor and indoor swimming pools. In Sterzing you can rent bikes of all kinds.
